וְהַמְּלָאכָ֣ה

ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh,

[is] for man

and with all

Now I have prepared

hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî

הֲכִינ֣וֹתִי

for the house

for the [things of] gold

and the silver

wə·hak·ke·sep̄

for the [things of] silver

and the bronze

wə·han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ

וְהַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁת

for the [things of] bronze

lan·nə·ḥō·šeṯ,

לַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת

for the [things of] iron

lab·bar·zel,

wə·hā·‘ê·ṣîm

for the [things of] wood

[stones] and to be set

ū·mil·lū·’îm

וּמִלּוּאִ֜ים

and of divers colors

and all manner

in abundance

in my delight

בִּרְצוֹתִי֙

in the house

of my own proper good

[which] I have given

to the house

that I have prepared

hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî

הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי

for the holy

[Even] three

of the houses

hab·bāt·tîm.

הַבָּתִּֽים׃

for the [things of] gold

and the silver

wə·lak·ke·sep̄

for the [things of] silver

lak·ke·sep̄,

for all manner

[to be made] by the hands

of artificers

[then] is willing

miṯ·nad·dêḇ,

lə·mal·lō·wṯ

Then offered willingly

way·yiṯ·nad·də·ḇū

וַיִּֽתְנַדְּבוּ֩

of the fathers

of the tribes

and the captains

of thousands

hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm

and of hundreds

wə·ham·mê·’ō·wṯ,

וְהַמֵּא֔וֹת

and with the rulers

way·yit·tə·nū

וַֽיִּתְּנ֞וּ

for the service

la·‘ă·ḇō·w·ḏaṯ

for the house

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

wa·’ă·ḏar·ḵō·nîm

וַאֲדַרְכֹנִ֣ים

ten thousand

and of silver

and of bronze

eighteen thousand

ū·šə·mō·w·naṯ

וּשְׁמוֹנַ֥ת

כִּכָּרִֽים׃

And were found

wə·han·nim·ṣā

וְהַנִּמְצָ֤א

[precious] whom stones

[them] to the treasure

of the house

hag·gê·rə·šun·nî.

הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי׃

Then rejoice

way·yiś·mə·ḥū

וַיִּשְׂמְח֤וּ

that they offered willingly

hiṯ·nad·də·ḇām,

הִֽתְנַדְּבָ֔ם

with perfect

they offered willingly

hiṯ·nad·də·ḇū

הִֽתְנַדְּב֖וּ

ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh.

in the sight

the congregation

[is] the greatness

hag·gə·ḏul·lāh

הַגְּדֻלָּ֨ה

and the power

wə·hag·gə·ḇū·rāh

וְהַגְּבוּרָ֤ה

and the glory

wə·hat·tip̄·’e·reṯ

וְהַתִּפְאֶ֙רֶת֙

and the victory

wə·han·nê·ṣaḥ

and the majesty

wə·ha·hō·wḏ,

[that is] in the heaven

baš·šā·ma·yim

בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם

and in the earth

ū·ḇā·’ā·reṣ;

[is] your the kingdom

ham·mam·lā·ḵāh,

הַמַּמְלָכָ֔ה

and You exalt

wə·ham·miṯ·naś·śê

וְהַמִּתְנַשֵּׂ֖א

and Both riches

wə·hā·‘ō·šer

wə·hak·kā·ḇō·wḏ

וְהַכָּבוֹד֙

[come] of you

mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā,

מִלְּפָנֶ֔יךָ

and in your hand

ū·ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā

ū·ḡə·ḇū·rāh;

and in your hand

ū·ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā,

וּבְיָ֣דְךָ֔

to make atonement

and to give strength

ū·lə·ḥaz·zêq

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū,

ū·mə·hal·lîm

וּֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖ים

your majestic

tip̄·’ar·te·ḵā.

תִּפְאַרְתֶּֽךָ׃

[is] my people

we should be

lə·hiṯ·nad·dêḇ

לְהִתְנַדֵּ֖ב

after this sort

and of your own

ū·mî·yā·ḏə·ḵā

וּמִיָּדְךָ֖

have we given

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā

and sojourners

wə·ṯō·wō·šā·ḇîm

וְתוֹשָׁבִ֖ים

as all [were]

our fathers [are]

’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū;

[there is] abiding

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū,

we have prepared

hă·ḵî·nō·nū,

for your holy

[cometh] of your hand

wə·yā·ḏa‘·tî

וְיָדַ֣עְתִּי

and in the uprightness

וּמֵישָׁרִ֖ים

have pleasure

in uprightness

I have willingly offered

hiṯ·nad·daḇ·tî

הִתְנַדַּ֣בְתִּי

these things

that are present

han·nim·ṣə·’ū-

הַנִּמְצְאוּ־

to offer willingly

lə·hiṯ·nad·deḇ-

לְהִֽתְנַדֶּב־

and of Israel

wə·yiś·rā·’êl

וְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙

’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū,

lə·‘ō·w·lām,

in the intentions

of the thoughts

maḥ·šə·ḇō·wṯ

מַחְשְׁב֖וֹת

of the heart

of your people

wə·liš·lō·mōh

וְלִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה

your commands

miṣ·wō·ṯe·ḵā,

מִצְוֹתֶ֔יךָ

your testimonies

‘ê·ḏə·wō·ṯe·ḵā

עֵדְוֹתֶ֖יךָ

wə·ḥuq·qe·ḵā;

wə·la·‘ă·śō·wṯ

וְלַעֲשׂ֣וֹת

[these things] and to build

wə·liḇ·nō·wṯ

[for] I have made provision

hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî.

הֲכִינֽוֹתִי׃

the congregation

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem;

way·ḇā·ră·ḵū

וַיְבָרֲכ֣וּ

the congregation

of their fathers

’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem,

אֲבֹֽתֵיהֶ֔ם

and bowed down their heads

way·yiq·qə·ḏū

וַיִּקְּד֧וּ

and worshiped

way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū

וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֛וּ

and the king

wə·lam·me·leḵ.

וְלַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

And they sacrificed

way·yiz·bə·ḥū

וַיִּזְבְּח֣וּ

way·ya·‘ă·lū

burnt offerings

On the next day

lə·mā·ḥo·raṯ

[even] a thousand

and with their drink offerings

wə·nis·kê·hem;

וְנִסְכֵּיהֶ֑ם

and sacrifices

in abundance

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

way·yō·ḵə·lū

וַיֹּאכְל֨וּ

וַיִּשְׁתּ֜וּ

בְּשִׂמְחָ֣ה

ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh;

And they made

way·yam·lî·ḵū

וַיַּמְלִ֤יכוּ

king the second time

and anointed

way·yim·šə·ḥū

וַיִּמְשְׁח֧וּ

[him] to the LORD

[to be] the chief governor

ū·lə·ṣā·ḏō·wq

and prospered

way·yaṣ·laḥ;

way·yiš·mə·‘ū

וַיִּשְׁמְע֥וּ

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and the mighty men

wə·hag·gib·bō·rîm,

וְהַגִּבֹּרִ֔ים

and likewise

themselves to

And magnified

in the sight

and bestowed

on him royal

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and Thus David

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and the time

wə·hay·yā·mîm,

וְהַיָּמִ֗ים

Israel [was]

אַרְבָּעִ֖ים

bə·ḥeḇ·rō·wn

בְּחֶבְר֤וֹן

and he in Jerusalem

ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim

וּבִירוּשָׁלִַ֥ם

[years] reigned

wə·šā·lō·wōš.

וְשָׁלֽוֹשׁ׃

wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ;

וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ

in his place

תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

Now the acts

hā·ri·šō·nîm

הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים

wə·hā·’ă·ḥ·rō·nîm;

וְהָאֲחרֹנִ֑ים

behold [are]

they written

and his might

ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw;

וּגְבוּרָת֑וֹ

that the times

wə·hā·‘it·tîm,

וְהָעִתִּ֗ים

the kingdoms

mam·lə·ḵō·wṯ

of the countries

hā·’ă·rā·ṣō·wṯ.
