הַ֠נְּבִיאִים

Now there cried

your servant

וְסָגַ֤רְתְּ

and shall pour out

וְיָצַ֕קְתְּ

that which is full

wə·ham·mā·lê

you shall set aside

תַּסִּֽיעִי׃

וַתִּסְגֹּ֣ר

(mō·w·ṣā·qeṯ.

And it came to pass

When the vessels

that she said

unto her her

[There is] a vessel

way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ

וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד

and Then she came

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

wə·šal·lə·mî

וְשַׁלְּמִ֖י

your children

(ū·ḇā·na·yiḵ,

(וּבָנַ֔יִךְ

ban·nō·w·ṯār.

בַּנּוֹתָֽר׃

way·ya·‘ă·ḇōr

and she constrained

wat·ta·ḥă·zeq-

And when he had called

וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖ד

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

to your maidservant

bə·šip̄·ḥā·ṯe·ḵā.

בְּשִׁפְחָתֶֽךָ׃

And conceived

וַיִּגְדַּ֖ל

that he went out

haq·qō·ṣə·rîm.

הַקֹּצְרִֽים׃

when he had taken him

way·yiś·śā·’ê·hū,

וַיִּשָּׂאֵ֔הוּ

and brought him

way·ḇî·’ê·hū

וַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּ

בִּרְכֶּ֛יהָ

haṣ·ṣā·ho·ra·yim

הַֽצָּהֳרַ֖יִם

And Then [then] died

and she went up

wat·taš·ki·ḇê·hū,

וַתַּשְׁכִּבֵ֔הוּ

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm;

וַתִּסְגֹּ֥ר

and went out

and she called

the young men

han·nə·‘ā·rîm,

הַנְּעָרִ֔ים

of the donkeys

hā·’ă·ṯō·nō·wṯ;

that I may run

wə·’ā·rū·ṣāh

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

and come again

wə·’ā·šū·ḇāh.

וְאָשֽׁוּבָה׃

And she said

[It shall be] well

Then she saddled

wat·ta·ḥă·ḇōš

וַֽתַּחֲבֹשׁ֙

hā·’ā·ṯō·wn,

and go forward

[your] riding

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

hak·kar·mel;

And it came to pass

When the man

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

that he said

haš·šū·nam·mîṯ

הַשּׁוּנַמִּ֥ית

[yonder is] that

now I pray to meet her

לִקְרָאתָהּ֒

with your husband

with the child

And she answered

when she came

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙

and she caught

wat·ta·ḥă·zêq

וַֽתַּחֲזֵ֖ק

בְּרַגְלָ֑יו

but came near

lə·hā·ḏə·p̄āh,

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

Let her alone

[is] mistreated

and not [it]

Then she said

Did I desire

hă·šā·’al·tî

הֲשָׁאַ֥לְתִּי

Then he said

mā·ṯə·ne·ḵā,

מִשְׁעַנְתִּ֣י

in your hand

and go your way

ṯə·ḇā·rə·ḵen·nū,

תְבָרְכֶ֔נּוּ

yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā

ṯa·‘ă·nen·nū;

מִשְׁעַנְתִּ֖י

of the child

[As] the LORD

[as] and your soul

’e·‘ez·ḇe·kā;

אֶעֶזְבֶ֑ךָּ

And he arose

and followed

’a·ḥă·re·hā.

and Then he returned

in the house

and stretched

and the child

way·yip̄·qaḥ

so he called

haš·šu·nam·mîṯ

הַשֻּׁנַמִּ֣ית

so he called her

way·yiq·rā·’e·hā

וַיִּקְרָאֶ֖הָ

And when she was come

and Then she went in

wat·tiš·ta·ḥū

וַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ

herself to the ground

and went out

we·’ĕ·lî·šā‘

וֶאֱלִישָׁ֞ע

hag·gil·gā·lāh

הַגִּלְגָּ֙לָה֙

[there was] and a famine

wə·hā·rā·‘āḇ

and the sons

of the prophets [were]

han·nə·ḇî·’îm,

הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים

to his servant

lə·na·‘ă·rōw,

hag·gə·ḏō·w·lāh,

הַגְּדוֹלָ֔ה

for the sons

of the prophets

han·nə·ḇî·’îm.

הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃

And went out

and gathered

from it his lap

way·p̄al·laḥ

[them] the pot

so they poured out

וַיִּֽצְק֥וּ

[you] for the men

la·’ă·nā·šîm

לַאֲנָשִׁ֖ים

le·’ĕ·ḵō·wl;

And it came to pass

as they were eating

kə·’ā·ḵə·lām

mê·han·nā·zîḏ

מֵהַנָּזִ֜יד

way·yō·mə·rū

וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙

[there is] death

וַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ

that they may eat

wə·yō·ḵê·lū,

Baal-shalishah

בְּצִקְלֹנ֑וֹ

that they may eat

wə·yō·ḵê·lū.

וְיֹאכֵֽלוּ׃

his servitor

mə·šā·rə·ṯōw,

מְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ

should I set

that they may eat

wə·yō·ḵê·lū,

They shall eat

and shall leave

wə·hō·w·ṯêr.

so he set [it]

and they did eat

way·yō·ḵə·lū

וַיֹּאכְל֥וּ

way·yō·w·ṯi·rū

וַיּוֹתִ֖רוּ
