haš·lî·ḵê·hū

הַשְׁלִיכֵ֣הוּ

way·yaš·lî·ḵê·hū

וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֥הוּ

it on the ground

and it became

from its face

it by the tail

And he put forth

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח

way·ya·ḥă·zeq

and it became

to the end that

they may believe

ya·’ă·mî·nū,

has appeared

of their fathers

into your bosom

bə·ḥê·qe·ḵā,

into his bosom

and he took it out

way·yō·w·ṣi·’āh,

וַיּ֣וֹצִאָ֔הּ

his hand [was]

mə·ṣō·ra·‘aṯ

כַּשָּֽׁלֶג׃

and plucked it out

way·yō·w·ṣi·’āh

וַיּֽוֹצִאָהּ֙

it out of his bosom

it was turned again

as his flesh

כִּבְשָׂרֽוֹ׃

And it shall come to pass

they believe

to the voice

hā·ri·šō·wn;

then they may believe

wə·he·’ĕ·mî·nū,

וְהֶֽאֱמִ֔ינוּ

hā·’a·ḥă·rō·wn.

הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃

And it shall come to pass

they believe

יִשְׁמְעוּן֙

to your voice

lə·qō·le·ḵā,

then you shall take

wə·lā·qaḥ·tā

וְלָקַחְתָּ֙

of the water

of the river

and pour [it]

wə·šā·p̄aḵ·tā

וְשָׁפַכְתָּ֖

on the dry ground

hay·yab·bā·šāh;

הַיַּבָּשָׁ֑ה

and shall become

from the water

of the river

and will become

on the dry ground

bay·yab·bā·šeṯ.

בַּיַּבָּֽשֶׁת׃

mit·tə·mō·wl

miš·šil·šōm,

מִשִּׁלְשֹׁ֔ם

you have spoken

your servant

and of a slow

Now therefore

and teach you

wə·hō·w·rê·ṯî·ḵā

וְהוֹרֵיתִ֖יךָ

you shall say

you will send

And was kindled

against Moses

your brother

liq·rā·ṯe·ḵā,

לִקְרָאתֶ֔ךָ

when he sees you

then he will be glad

in his heart

And you shall speak

wə·ḏib·bar·tā

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֖ים

in his mouth

wə·’ā·nō·ḵî,

and will teach

wə·hō·w·rê·ṯî

וְהוֹרֵיתִ֣י

you shall do

תַּעֲשֽׂוּן׃

And shall be spokesman

and shall be

לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃

you shall take

in your hand

bə·yā·ḏe·ḵā;

and returned

וַיָּ֣שָׁב ׀

his father-in-law

wə·’ā·šū·ḇāh

וְאָשׁ֙וּבָה֙

bə·miṣ·ra·yim,

בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם

whether they are yet

lə·šā·lō·wm.

hā·’ă·nā·šîm,

הָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים

הַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֖ים

and set them

way·yar·ki·ḇêm

וַיַּרְכִּבֵם֙

and he returned

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

bə·leḵ·tə·ḵā

בְּלֶכְתְּךָ֙

miṣ·ray·māh,

מִצְרַ֔יְמָה

those wonders

ham·mō·p̄ə·ṯîm

הַמֹּֽפְתִים֙

in your power

ḇə·yā·ḏe·ḵā,

wa·‘ă·śî·ṯām

וַעֲשִׂיתָ֖ם

will he let go

And you shall say

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֖

My firstborn

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

that he may serve

wə·ya·‘aḇ·ḏê·nî,

וְיַֽעַבְדֵ֔נִי

and if you refuse

wat·tə·mā·’ên

to let him go

lə·šal·lə·ḥōw;

לְשַׁלְּח֑וֹ

your firstborn

bə·ḵō·re·ḵā.

And it came to pass

bam·mā·lō·wn;

way·yip̄·gə·šê·hū

וַיִּפְגְּשֵׁ֣הוּ

the LORD him

וַיְבַקֵּ֖שׁ

a sharp stone

the foreskin

and cast [it]

a bridegroom

a bridegroom

because of the circumcision

into the wilderness

ham·miḏ·bā·rāh;

הַמִּדְבָּ֑רָה

way·yip̄·gə·šê·hū

וַֽיִּפְגְּשֵׁ֛הוּ

in the mount

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm

way·yiš·šaq-

lə·’a·hă·rōn,

he had commanded

wə·’a·hă·rōn;

and gathered together

way·ya·’as·p̄ū,

וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

had·də·ḇā·rîm,

הַדְּבָרִ֔ים

in the sight

of the people

And believed

way·ya·’ă·mên

וַֽיַּאֲמֵ֖ן

when they heard

way·yiš·mə·‘ū

וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֡וּ

the children

he had looked on

their affliction

and then they bowed their heads

way·yiq·qə·ḏū

וַֽיִּקְּד֖וּ

and worshiped

way·yiš·ta·ḥăw·wū

וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃
