to be aggrieved, chafe, τῇ συμφορῇ, τῇ δουλοσύνῃ, τῇ ἀπάτῃ, etc., Hdt. 1.44, 164, 4.154, al.: c. gen. pers., to be aggrieved at or with him, Id. 8.109: abs., Id. 1.114. (ἡμεκτέω only in Hsch.)
