רִיק (from the root רוּק) m. adj. empty, vain, Jeremiah 51:34. Neutr. emptiness, something vain, Psal. 4:3. Adv. רִיק. Psal. 73:13 לָרִיק Levit. 26:16 לְרִיק Job 39:16 בְּדֵי רִיק Jerem. 51:58 in vain, fruitlessly.
