		Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition
		בָּלַם to bind together, to shut fast, specially the mouth of a beast with a muzzle, Psalms 32:9. (Syr. ܒܠܰܡ id. Ethpe. to be shut, used of the mouth, to be dumb, ܒܠܳܡܐܳ a muzzle.) In form and signification it is kindred to אָלַם. As to the roots ending in ם see בָּהַם.
