טָלַל , Arab. طَلَّ Eth. አጥለለ፡ to moisten gently, as the earth with dew or showers.
Hence טַל dew.
II.
טָלַל i.q. צָלַל No.III. Arab. ظَلَّ II. to overshadow, hence to cover over.
Piel טִלֵּל to cover, especially with beams or planks (elsewhere קָרָה), Nehemiah 3:15. Compare Genesis 19:8, צֵל קוֹרָתִי.
Pilpel טִלְטֵל is from טוּל, which see.
