Qal Passive participle plural סִירִים סְבֻכִים Nahum 1:10 interwoven (entangled) thorns (compare Da); Gunk ZAW xiii (1893), 235 proposes (after ᵐ5ᵑ7 Vollers) כְּסוּחִים i.e. cut off, away ( Isaiah 33:12) compare Now; text very dubious
Pu`al Imperfect 3 masculine plural עַלגַּֿל שָׁרָשָׁיו יְסֻבָּ֑כוּ Job 8:17 are interwoven (in a tangled mass).
סָבַךְ to interweave, to entwine, to plait, especially branches (see שָׂבַךְ Arab. شبك II. id. Conj. I. to mingle. By softening the letter ב from this root comes the עו֞ quiesc. שׂוּךְ). Part. pass. Nahum 1:10.
