Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

קָדַח

(1)  to kindle fire. (Arabic قدح to strike fire. It seems to be of the same stock as כָּדַד). Jeremiah 17:4; Isaiah 50:11, 64:1.

(2) to be kindled, to burn, Deuteronomy 32:22; Jeremiah 15:14.
