שָׂרִיד m. [pl. שְׂרִידִים], a survivor, one escaped from a great slaughter, i.q. פָּלִיט Numbers 21:35, 24:19 Deuteronomy 3:3; Joshua 8:22. Collect., Judges 5:13. Used of things, Job 20:21. Root שָׂרַד.
