 מַצֵּבָה, מַצֶּ֫בֶת noun feminine pillar, maƒƒ¢b¹, stump; — absolute מַצֵּבָה Hosea 3:4 +,מַצֶּ֫בֶת 2 Samuel 18:18 a (read ׳הַמּᵐ5 Dr Bu Kit), 2 Samuel 18:18 b Isaiah 6:13, construct מַצְּבַת 2 Kings 3:2; 2 Kings 10:27, מַצֶּ֫בֶת Genesis 35:14,20; suffix מַצַּבְתָּהּ Isaiah 6:13; plural absolute מַצֵּבוֺת 1 Kings 14:28, construct מַצְּבוֺת 2 Kings 10:26, etc.; —

(b) a statue, the image of an idol, e.g. מַצְּבַת הַבַּעַל the statue of Baal, 2 Kings 3:2, 10:26 18:4 23:14 Micah 5:12; Hosea 10:1.
