Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

מִשְׁעִי ἅπ. λεγόμ. a cleansing, prob. for מִשְׁעִית in the Chaldee form, like אֶמְתָּנִי for אֶמְתָּנִית (which see), דֵאשִׁי i.q. רֵאשִׁיה; Ezekiel 16:4, of a new-born infant, לֹא רֻחַצְתְּ לְמִשְׁעִי “thou wast not washed to cleansing,” i.e. not washed clean. [In Thes. referred to שָׁעָה.]
