Now in all the land no women were found so beautiful as Job's daughters; and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.

The wicked are not so,But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.

So now, O kings, show insight;Take warning, O judges of the earth.

To give justice to the orphan and the oppressed,So that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror.

He trains my hands for battle,So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

I crushed them, so that they were not able to rise;They fell under my feet.

I shall wash my hands in innocence,So I will go around Your altar, O Yahweh,

Depart from evil and do good,So you will dwell forever.

For evils beyond number have surrounded me;My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see;They are more numerous than the hairs of my head,And my heart has failed me.

As the deer pants for the water brooks,So my soul pants for You, O God.

As we have heard, so have we seenIn the city of Yahweh of hosts, in the city of our God;God will establish her forever. Selah.

As is Your name, O God,So is Your praise to the ends of the earth;Your right hand is full of righteousness.

Against You, You only, I have sinnedAnd done what is evil in Your sight,So that You are justified when You speakAnd pure when You judge.

So that the righteous will see and fear,And will laugh at him, saying,

For You have delivered my soul from death,Indeed my feet from stumbling,So that I may walk before GodIn the light of the living.

So that it does not hear the voice of charmers,Or a skillful caster of spells.

So I will sing praise to Your name forever,As I pay my vows day by day.

So they will cause their own tongue to turn against them;All who see them will shake their head.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;As wax melts before the fire,So let the wicked perish before God.

Reproach has broken my heart and I am so sick.And I hoped for sympathy, but there was none,And for comforters, but I found none.
