And there He causes the hungry to inhabit,So that they may establish an inhabited city,

He also loved cursing, so it came to him;And he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him.

Because He has inclined His ear to me,So I shall call upon Him in all my days.

Make me understand the way of Your precepts,So I will muse on Your wondrous deeds.

So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me,For I trust in Your word.

So I will keep Your law continually,Forever and ever.

I remember in the night Your name, O Yahweh,So I keep Your law.

May my heart be blameless in Your statutes,So that I will not be ashamed.

Revive me according to Your lovingkindness,So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

Behold, as the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,As the eyes of a servant‑girl to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to Yahweh our God,Until He is gracious to us.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,So Yahweh surrounds His peopleFrom now until forever.

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous,So that the righteous would not send forth their hands in unrighteousness.

Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,So are the children of one's youth.

How blessed are the people for whom this is so;How blessed are the people for whom God is Yahweh!

He sends forth His word and melts them;He causes His wind to blow and so the waters flow,

He has not done so with any nation;So as for His judgments, they have not known them.Praise Yah!

So are the paths of everyone who is greedy for gain;It takes away the life of its possessors.

So they shall eat of the fruit of their wayAnd be satisfied with their own devices.

So that you will walk in the way of good menAnd keep to the paths of the righteous.

So you will find favor and good insightIn the eyes of God and man.
