and you will say to them, ‘Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, "Behold, I am going to send and get Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and I am going to set his throne right over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his canopy over them.

"Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘You yourselves have seen all the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are a waste place and no one lives in them

So now, thus says Yahweh, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, "Why are you doing great evil against yourselves, so as to cut off from you man and woman, infant and nursing baby, from among Judah, leaving yourselves without remnant,

"Therefore thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am going to set My face against you for your evil demise, even to cut off all Judah.

thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: ‘As for you and your wives, you have spoken with your mouths and fulfilled it with your hands, saying, "We will certainly perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her." Go ahead and establish your vows, and certainly perform your vows!'

"Thus says Yahweh the God of Israel to you, O Baruch:

Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, says, "Behold, I am going to punish Amon of Thebes, and Pharaoh, and Egypt along with her gods and her kings, even Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

Concerning Moab. Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel,"Woe to Nebo, for it has been destroyed;Kiriathaim has been put to shame, it has been captured;The lofty stronghold has been put to shame and shattered.

"In those days and at that time," declares Yahweh, "the sons of Israel will come, both they and the sons of Judah as well; they will go along weeping as they go, and it will be Yahweh their God they will seek.

Therefore thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Behold, I am going to punish the king of Babylon and his land, just as I punished the king of Assyria.

There is a sound of those who flee and escape from the land of Babylon,To declare in Zion the vengeance of Yahweh our God,Vengeance for His temple.

As when God overthrew SodomAnd Gomorrah with its neighbors," declares Yahweh,"No man will live there,Nor will any son of man sojourn in it.

For neither Israel nor Judah has been widowedBy his God, by Yahweh of hosts,Although their land is full of guiltBefore the Holy One of Israel.

Yahweh has brought about our righteousness;Come and let us recount in ZionThe work of Yahweh our God!

For thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel:"The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floorAt the time it is stamped firm;Yet in a little while the time of harvest will come for her."

For the destroyer is coming against her, against Babylon,And her mighty men will be captured;Their bows are shattered;For Yahweh is a God of recompense,He will fully repay.

We lift up our heart to our handsToward God in heaven;

Now it happened in the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

He sent forth the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the figure of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy, was located.

And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the appearance which I saw in the plain.
