Now therefore, O kings, act wisely; Be instructed and take warning, O leaders (judges, rulers) of the earth.

Therefore my heart is glad and my glory [my innermost self] rejoices; My body too will dwell [confidently] in safety,

Therefore the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity), According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.

Therefore will I give thanks and praise You, O LORD, among the nations, And sing praises to Your name.

Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

The LORD is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You [for forgiveness] in a time when You [are near and] may be found; Surely when the great waters [of trial and distressing times] overflow they will not reach [the spirit in] him.

You are fairer than the sons of men; Graciousness is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.

I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the peoples will praise and give You thanks forever and ever.

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,

Therefore pride is their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment [like a long, luxurious robe].
