And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Yahweh's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were cherubim.

that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither defile themselves anymore with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord Yahweh.

and say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the day when I chose Israel, and swore to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, I am Yahweh your God;

And I said to them, Cast away every man the detestable things of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God.

I am Yahweh your God: walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them;

and hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.

Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God;-

therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,

Will you yet say before him that slays you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him that wounds you.

You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, the topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was in you; in the day that you were created they were prepared.

You were the anointed cherub that covers; I set you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

And they shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those that do them despite round about them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh their God.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it; the fir-trees were not like its boughs, and the plane-trees were not as its branches; nor was any tree in the garden of God like it in its beauty.

I made it fair by the multitude of its branches, so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied it.

And I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my slave David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it.
