But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

And why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

"Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

And Jesus *said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not good enough for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

And Jesus *said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

But Jesus *said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."

And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was sleeping.

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—then He *said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your bed and go home."

But when the crowds saw this, they were afraid, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

But when Jesus heard this, He said, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.

But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Then the disciples of John *came to Him, asking, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"

And Jesus said to them, "Can the attendants of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

But no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results.
