You shall hear from Heaven, and shall act, and shall judge Your servants, to repay the wicked, to bring his way on his own head; and to justify the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

whatever supplication, whatever prayer shall be made for any man, and for all Your people Israel, when they know each one his own plague, and his own grief, and he shall spread out his hands toward this house;

then You shall hear from Heaven, Your dwelling place, and shall forgive, and shall give to each according to all his ways, because You know his heart; for You, You only, have known the heart of the sons of men;

And all the sons of Israel were watching, when the fire came down, and the glory of Jehovah was on the house and they bowed their noses to the earth, on the pavement, and worshiped, and gavethanks to Jehovah: for He is good,for His mercy endures forever.

And the priests were standing over their charges, and the Levites with instruments of music to Jehovah, that David the king had made to give thanks to Jehovah (for His mercy endures forever) when David praised by their hand; andthe priests were blowing trumpets before them, and all Israel was standing.

And on the twenty third day of the seventh month, he sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart, for the goodness that Jehovah had done to David, and to Solomon, and to His people Israel.

And Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king's house; and all that came to the heart of Solomon to do in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he was caused to prosper.

And it happened, at the end of twenty years, Solomon built the house of Jehovah, and his own house.

and Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all the desire of Solomon that he wanted to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

And none of the sons of Israel did Solomon make slaves for his work, but they were men of war, and commanders of his officers, and commanders of his chariots, and his horsemen.

And according to the decree of his father David, he made the divisions of the priests stand over their service, and of the Levites over their charges, to praise and to minister before the priests, according to the matter of every day, and the gatekeepers in their courses at every gate, for so was the command of David the man of God.

And Hiram sent ships to him by the hand of his servants, and servants who knew the sea. And they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took from there four hundred and fifty talentsof gold, and brought it to KingSolomon.

and the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the standing of his ministers, and their clothing, and his cupbearers, and their clothing, and his burnt offerings that he offered upin the house of Jehovah; and there was no morespirit in her.

May Jehovah your God be blessed, who has delighted in you, to put you on His throne to be king for Jehovah your God. In the love of your God toward Israel, to make it stand forever,He has put you over them as king, to do judgmentand righteousness.

And all the kings of the earth were seeking the face of Solomon, to hear his wisdom that God had put in his heart.

And they were each bringing his present, vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and garments, weapons, and spices, horses and mules, a rate year by year.

And Solomon lay with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of his father David. And his son Rehoboam reigned in his place.

Your father made our yoke hard; and now lighten the hard service of your father, and his heavy yoke that he put on us, and we shall serve you.

And King Rehoboam consulted with the aged men who had stood before his father Solomon when he was alive, saying, How do you advise to answer this people a word?

And the king did not listen to the people, for the revolution was from God, so that Jehovah might lift up His Word that He spoke by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
