with all his reign and his might, and the times that passed over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the lands.

And Solomon the son of David made himself strong over his kingdom, and Jehovah his God was with him, and made him exceedingly great.

And Solomon said to God, You have acted with great kindness with my father David, and have made me king in his place.

And Solomon said to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom.

And Hiram the king of Tyre answered in writing, and sent to Solomon, Because Jehovah loves His people, He has given you as king over them.

the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father a man of Tyre, who knows how to work in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in wood, in purple, and violet, and in fine linen, and in crimson, and to engrave anyengraving, and to invent any device that is given to him, with your skilled men, and the skilled men of my lord David, your father.

And now the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine, as my lord said, let him send to his servants.

And Solomon numbered all the men, the aliens who were in the land of Israel, according to the numbering with which his father David numbered them; and they were found a hundred and fifty three thousand, six hundred;

And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, in Mount Moriah, where He appeared to his father David, in the place that David had prepared, in the grain floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

And he began to build on the second, in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

and the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their vessels did his master Hiram make for King Solomon for the house of Jehovah, of burnished bronze.

And all the work that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah was finished. And Solomon brought in the dedicated things of his father David, and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he had put among the treasures of the house of God.

And they were as one to the trumpeters, and to the singers to cause one sound to be heard to praise and to thank Jehovah. And when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets andcymbals and instruments of music, and praisedJehovah, saying , For He is good; for his mercy endures forever; and a cloud filled the house, the house of Jehovah;

And the king turned his face and blessed all the congregation of Israel. And all the congregation of Israel was standing.

And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, who has spoken with His mouth to my father David, and with His hands has fulfilled it, saying,

And Jehovah has lifted up His Word that He spoke, for I have risen up in the place of my father David, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spoke. And I have built the house for the name of Jehovah the God of Israel.

And he stood before the altar of Jehovah, before the congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands.

Solomon had made a bronze scaffold, and put it in the middle of the court, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high; and he stood on it, and knelt on his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread out hishands toward Heaven.

And You have turned toward the prayer of Your servant, and to his supplication, O Jehovah my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer that Your servant is praying before You;

If a man shall sin against his neighbor, and he shall lift up an oath on him, to cause him to swear, and he shall come and swear before Your altar in this house,
