Jesus *said to her, "Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?"

and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

for they loved the glory of men rather than the glory of God.

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,

Therefore when he had gone out, Jesus *said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him;

if God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.

They will put you out of the synagogue, but an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering service to God.

Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God."

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God."

Jesus *said to her, "Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.'"

Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

Now this He said, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He *said to him, "Follow Me!"

to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over forty days and speaking about the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Cretans and Arabs—we hear them in our own tongues speaking of the mighty deeds of God."

"Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God did through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—

this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of lawless men and put Him to death.
