And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and [yet] he is long-suffering over them?

The Pharisee stood and prayed these things to himself, God, I thank you, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

But the publican, standing far off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me a sinner.

But Jesus called them to him, saying, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them: for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no way enter therein.

And Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? none is good except one, God.

And Jesus seeing him become exceedingly sorrowful said, How hard it is for those having riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

And as they heard these things, he added and spoke a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and [because] they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.

And as he was now drawing near, [even] at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;

He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

And they asked him, saying, Teacher, we know that you say and teach rightly, and do not accept the person [of any], but of a truth teach the way of God:

And he said to them, Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.

for neither can they die anymore: for they are equal to the angels; and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in [the place concerning] the bush, when he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live to him.

Even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near.

for I say to you, I shall not eat it, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
