Therefore my judgment is, that we not trouble those that from among the Gentiles turn to God;

And when he had seen the vision, right away we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple of the city of Thyatira, one that worshiped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened to give heed to the things which were spoken by Paul.

The same following after Paul and us cried out, saying, These men are slaves of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation.

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;

And he brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his house, having believed in God.

But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was proclaimed of Paul at Berea also, they came there likewise, stirring up and troubling the multitudes.

For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. What therefore you worship in ignorance, this I set forth to you.

The God that made the world and all things therein, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands;

that they should seek God, if perhaps they might feel after him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us:

Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and device of man.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commands men that they should all everywhere repent:

And he departed from there, and went into the house of a certain man named Titus Justus, one that worshiped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

And he dwelt [there] a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

saying, This man persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.

but taking his leave of them, and saying, I will return again to you if God wills, he set sail from Ephesus.

and he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him to them, and expounded to him the way of God more accurately.

And he entered into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for the space of three months, reasoning and persuading [as to] the things concerning the kingdom of God.

And God did special miracles by the hands of Paul:

testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
