but the seventh day is a sabbath of Yahweh your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female slave or your cattle or your sojourner who is within your gates.

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

Then they said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself, and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, lest we die."

And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may be with you, so that you may not sin."

So the people stood at a distance, but Moses came near the dense gloom where God was.

then his master shall bring him to God, and he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. Then his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him permanently.

But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God let him fall into his hand, then I will appoint you a place to which he may flee.

"And he who sacrifices to any god, other than to Yahweh alone, shall be devoted to destruction.

"You shall not curse God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

"You shall bring the choice first fruits of your ground into the house of Yahweh your God. "You shall not boil a young goat in the milk of its mother.

But you shall serve Yahweh your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.

and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.

Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they beheld God, and they ate and drank.

So Moses arose with Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God.

They shall know that I am Yahweh their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am Yahweh their God.

And I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in discernment, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

When He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.

Then Moses entreated the favor of Yahweh his God and said, "O Yahweh, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a strong hand?

Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.
