Matthew 10:1-4; Mark 3:13-19">[xr] Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Matthew 5:1-12">[xr] Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said: "Blessed are you poor, For yours is the kingdom of God.

Then fear came upon all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has risen up among us"; and, "God has visited His people."

For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; [fn] but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

And when all the people heard Him, even the tax collectors justified God, having been baptized with the baptism of John.

But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the will of God for themselves, not having been baptized by him.

Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,

And He said, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that 'Seeing they may not see,And hearing they may not understand.' Isaiah 6:9 ">[fn]

Matthew 13:18-23; Mark 4:13-20">[xr] "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it."

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!"

"Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered and said, "The Christ of God."

But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God."

Matthew 17:22,23; Mark 9:30-32">[xr] And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples,

Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."

But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

And heal the sick there, and say to them, "The kingdom of God has come near to you.'
