And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Matthew 25:14-30">[xr] Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately.

Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,

Then they asked Him, saying, "Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth:

And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord 'the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' Exodus 3:6, 15">[fn]

For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him."

for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, [fn] but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had."

So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."

for I say to you, [fn] I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."

Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God."

Then they all said, "Are You then the Son of God?" So He said to them, "You rightly say that I am."

And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God."

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous Man!"

He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting [fn] for the kingdom of God.

And He said to them, "What things?" So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

53 and were continually in the temple praising and [fn] blessing God. Amen. [fn]
