But even now I know that whatever you ask of God, he will give you.

She said to him, Yes, my Lord; I do believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come to the world.

And not only for the sake of the people, but also to gather together the children of God who are scattered abroad.

For they loved the honor of men more than the glory of God.

Jesus then said, Now the Son of man is glorified, and God is glorified by him.

If God is glorified by him, God will also glorify him by himself, and he will glorify him at once.

LET not your heart be troubled; believe in God, and believe in me also.

For they will put you out of their synagogues; and the hour will come that whoever kills you, will think that he has offered an offering to God.

Now we understand that you know everything; and you need no man to ask you; by this we believe that you have come forth from God.

And this is life eternal, that they might know you, that you are the only true God, even the one who sent Jesus Christ.

The Jews said to him, We have a law, and according to our law he is guilty of death, because he made himself the Son of God.

Jesus said to her, Do not come near me; for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.

Thomas answered and said to him, O my Lord and my God!

Even these are written, so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and when you believe you shall have life everlasting in his name.

He said this, to show by what death he would glorify God. And when he had said these things, he said to him, Follow me.
