Then they inquired, "What must we do to perform the works of God?"

Jesus replied, "The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent."

For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."

It is written in the Prophets: 'And they will all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to Me-

not that anyone has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father.

We believe and know that You are the Holy One of God."

If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether My teaching is from God or whether I speak on My own.

But now you are trying to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham never did such a thing.

You are doing the works of your father." "We are not illegitimate children," they declared. "Our only Father is God Himself."

Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on My own, but He sent Me.

Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory means nothing. The One who glorifies Me is My Father, of whom you say 'He is our God.'

Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God would be displayed in him.

Because of this, some of the Pharisees said, "This man is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath." But others said, "How can a sinful man perform such signs?" And there was division among them.

So a second time they called for the man who had been blind and said, "Give glory to God! We know that this man is a sinner."

We know that God spoke to Moses, but we do not know where this man is from."

We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will.

If this man were not from God, He could do no such thing."

"We are not stoning You for any good work," said the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God."

If he called them gods to whom the word of God came-and the Scripture cannot be broken-
