But his delight is in the law of Yahweh,And in His law he meditates day and night.

The kings of the earth take their standAnd the rulers take counsel togetherAgainst Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying,

Then He speaks to them in His angerAnd terrifies them in His fury, saying,

Kiss the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way,For His wrath may soon be kindled.How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!

I was calling to Yahweh with my voice,And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.

If a man does not repent, He will sharpen His sword;He has bent His bow and prepared it.

He has also prepared for Himself deadly weapons;He makes His arrows fiery shafts.

His mischief will return upon his own head,And his violence will descend upon his own skull.

I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousnessAnd will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High.

You make him to rule over the works of Your hands;You have put all things under his feet,

But Yahweh abides forever;He has established His throne for judgment,

Sing praises to Yahweh, who abides in Zion;Declare among the peoples His acts.

Yahweh has made Himself known;He has executed judgment.In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion Selah.

In his lofty pride the wicked hotly pursues the afflicted;Let them be caught in the thoughts which they have devised.

For the wicked boasts of his soul's desire,And the greedy man curses and spurns Yahweh.

The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him.All his thoughts are, "There is no God."

His ways prosper at all times;Your judgments are on high, out of his sight;As for all his adversaries, he snorts at them.

He says in his heart, "I will not be shaken;From generation to generation I will not be in adversity."

His mouth is full of curses and deceit and oppression;Under his tongue is mischief and wickedness.

He sits in the places of the villages where one lies in wait;In the hiding places he kills the innocent;His eyes stealthily watch for the unfortunate.
