From the brightness before Him passed His thick clouds,Hailstones and coals of fire.

Yahweh also thundered in the heavens,And the Most High gave forth His voice,Hailstones and coals of fire.

He sent out His arrows, and scattered them,And lightning flashes in abundance, and threw them into confusion.

For all His judgments were before me,And I did not put away His statutes from me.

Therefore Yahweh has recompensed me according to my righteousness,According to the cleanness of my hands before His eyes.

As for God, His way is blameless;The word of Yahweh is tried;He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

He gives great salvation to His king,And shows lovingkindness to His anointed,To David and his seed forever.

The heavens are telling of the glory of God;And the expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber;It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.

Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.

Now I know that Yahweh saves His anointed;He will answer him from His holy heavenWith the saving might of His right hand.

You have given him his heart's desire,And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

For You meet him with the blessings of good things;You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

His glory is great through Your salvation,Splendor and majesty You bestow upon him.

You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger;Yahweh will swallow them up in His wrath,And fire will devour them.

For He has not despised and He has not abhorred the affliction of the afflicted;And He has not hidden His face from him;But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.

All the prosperous of the earth will eat and worship,All those who go down to the dust will bow before Him,Even he who cannot keep his soul alive.

They will come and will declare His righteousnessTo a people who will be born, that He has done it.

He restores my soul;He guides me in the paths of righteousnessFor His name's sake.

Who may ascend into the mountain of Yahweh?And who may rise in His holy place?
