"Though I put a terror of him in the land of the living, yet he will be made to lie down among the uncircumcised along with those slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his hordes," declares Lord Yahweh.

"Yet the sons of your people say, ‘The way of the Lord is not right,' when it is their own way that is not right.

Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."

"Son of man, they who inhabit these waste places in the land of Israel are saying, ‘Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to us who are many the land has been given as a possession.'

Then they came to the nations to which they came. And they profaned My holy name because it was said of them, ‘These are the people of Yahweh; yet they have come out of His land.'

Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house and ministering in the house; they shall slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them.

Yet I will appoint them as keepers of the responsibility for the house, of all its service and of all that shall be done in it.

Also they shall not shave their heads, yet they shall not let their locks grow long; they shall only trim the hair of their heads.

And Yahweh said to him, "Name him Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will visit the bloodshed of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and I will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.

Yet the number of the sons of IsraelWill be like the sand of the sea,Which cannot be measured or numbered;And it will be that in the placeWhere it is said to them,"You are not My people,"It will be said to them,"You are the sons of the living God."

Yet let no man contend, and let no man offer reproof;Indeed, your people are like those who contend with the priest.

Strangers devour his power,Yet he does not know it;Gray hairs also are sprinkled on him,Yet he does not know it.

So the pride of Israel answers against him,Yet they have not returned to Yahweh their God,Nor have they sought Him, for all this.

Although I disciplined and strengthened their arms,Yet they devise evil against Me.

Ephraim was a watchman with my God, a prophet;Yet the snare of a bird catcher is in all his ways,And there is only hostility in the house of his God.

Though they bring up their children,Yet I will bereave them until not a man is left.Surely, woe to them indeed when I depart from them!

Yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk;I took them in My arms;But they did not know that I healed them.

Yet I have been Yahweh your GodSince the land of Egypt;And you were not to know any god except Me,And there is no savior besides Me.

"Yet even now," declares Yahweh,"Return to Me with all your heartAnd with fasting, weeping, and wailing;

"Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them,Though his height was like the height of cedars,And he was strong as the oaks;I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.
