And demons also were coming out of many, shouting and saying, "You are the Son of God!" But rebuking them, He was not allowing them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.

And when they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish. And their nets began to break;

so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink.

For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken,

And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

And behold, some men were carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down before Him.

But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.

And astonishment seized them all and they began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."

And they said to Him, "The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do likewise, but Yours eat and drink."

But the days will come; and when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days."

And the scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him closely to see if He heals on the Sabbath, so that they might find reason to accuse Him.

But He knew what they were thinking, and He said to the man with the withered hand, "Get up and come forward!" And he stood up and came forward.

But they themselves were filled with rage, and were discussing together what they might do to Jesus.

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."

And He also spoke a parable to them: "Can a blind man guide a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?

And when they came to Jesus, they were earnestly pleading with Him, saying, "He is worthy for You to grant this to him;

And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave in good health.

And fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and, "God has visited His people!"

And when all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they acknowledged God's justice, having been baptized with the baptism of John.

"To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?
