I command you, in the sight of God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate,

I am thankful to God, whom I have served with a clear conscience as my ancestors did, when I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day,

correcting those who are opposed with gentleness, seeing whether perhaps God may grant them repentance to a knowledge of the truth,

traitors, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God,

All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness,

in order that the person of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom,

Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of the chosen of God and the knowledge of the truth that is according to godliness,

in the hope of eternal life which God, who does not lie, promised before eternal ages,

but at the proper time has disclosed his message in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the command of God our Savior,
