For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, because they belong to God.

But if any man loves God, the same is known of him.

As concerning the eating of the food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.

To us there is one God, the Father, from whom comes every thing and by whom we live; and one LORD Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

But meat does not bring us closer to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither if we do not eat, are we the worse.

For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. Why? Is God concerned only for the ox?

To those who are without law, I became like one who is without law, though I am not lawless before God because I am under the law of Christ, that I might win them who are without law.

But with many of them God was not well pleased; for they were smitten in the wilderness.

No other temptation has overtaken you but that which is common to man: but God is faithful; he will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that you are able; but will make your temptation to have a way of escape, so that you may be able to bear it.

But that which the pagans sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils and not to God: and I would not have you in fellowship with devils.

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Give no offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Syrians, nor to the church of God;

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the wife is her husband; and the head of Christ is God.
