Paul, a slave of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before eternal times;

but in his own seasons manifested his word in the message, with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;

to Titus, my true child after a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being disgusting, and disobedient, and to every good work reprobate.

[to be] sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God not be blasphemed:

not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of Jesus Christ, our great God and Savior;

But when the kindness of God our Savior, and his love toward man, appeared,

Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

God, having of old time spoken to the fathers in the prophets by diverse portions and in diverse manners,

And when he again brings in the firstborn into the world he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.

but of the Son [he says,] Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; And the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, [even] Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every [man].

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Look, I and the children whom God has given me.
