[A Psalm] of David. Bless Yahweh, O my soul; And all that is inside me, [bless] his holy name.

Bless Yahweh, O my soul, And do not forget all his benefits:

He made known his ways to Moses, His doings to the sons of Israel.

He will not always chide; Neither will he keep [his anger] forever.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his loving-kindness toward those that fear him.

Like a father pities his sons, So Yahweh pities those that fear him.

As for common man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

But the loving-kindness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those that fear him, And his righteousness to sons of sons;

To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them.

Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom rules over all.

Bless Yahweh, you his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfill his word, Listening to the voice of his word.

Bless Yahweh, all you his hosts, You ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

Bless Yahweh, all you his works, In all places of his dominion: Bless Yahweh, O my soul.

Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who makes the clouds his chariot; Who walks on the wings of the wind;

Who makes winds his messengers; Flames of fire his ministers;

He waters the mountains from his chambers: The earth is filled with the fruit of your works.

And wine that makes glad the heart of common man, [And] oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengthens common man's heart.

He appointed the moon for seasons: The sun knows his going down.

Man goes forth to his work And to his labor until the evening.

Let the glory of Yahweh endure forever; Let Yahweh rejoice in his works:
