You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies to rejoice.

Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, And have not made him to stand in the battle.

You have made his brightness to cease, And cast his throne down to the ground.

The days of his youth you have shortened: You have covered him with shame. Selah.

What [prominent] man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

He will cover you with his pinions, And under his wings you shall take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.

For he will give his angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

For Yahweh will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; Let us make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the mountains are his also.

The sea is his, and he made it; And his hands formed the dry land.

For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!

Sing to Yahweh, bless his name; Show forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.

Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name: Bring an offering, and come into his courts.

Before Yahweh; for he comes, For he comes to judge the earth: He will judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with his truth.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

A fire goes before him, And burns up his adversaries round about.
