Therefore He said that He would destroy them, {N}to turn back His wrath, lest He should destroy them.

Moreover, they scorned the desirable land, they believed not His word;

For they embittered his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.

Give us help against the adversary; for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly; for He it is that will tread down our adversaries.
