"And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: "This is what the one who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: ‘I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, and you are dead.

Be on the alert and strengthen the remaining things that are about to die, for I have not found your works completed before my God.

The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go outside again, and I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God, and my new name.

And from the throne came out lightnings and sounds and thunders, and seven torches of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.

And the four living creatures, each one of them, had six wings apiece, full of eyes around and inside, and they do not have rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God All-Powerful, the one who was and the one who is and the one who is coming!"

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, because you have created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created."

And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as though slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.

And they were singing a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and bought people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation,

and made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth."

And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had,

And I saw another angel ascending from the east, holding the seal of the living God, and he cried out with a loud voice to the four angels who were given permission to damage the earth and the sea,

saying, "Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads."

And they were crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,

saying, "Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen!"

Because of this, they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple, and the one who is seated on the throne will shelter them.

because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and will lead them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

And the smoke of the incense went up before God with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel.

And it was told to them that they should not damage the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, except those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
