Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatever is begotten of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world, [even] our faith.

And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for the witness of God is this, that he has borne witness concerning his Son.

He that believes on the Son of God, has the witness in himself: he that doesn't believe God, has made him a liar; because he has not believed in the witness that God has borne concerning his Son.

And the witness is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He that has the Son, has the life; he that does not have the Son of God, does not have the life.

These things I have written to you, that you may know that you have eternal life, [even] to you that believe on the name of the Son of God.

If any man sees his brother sinning a sin not to death, he shall ask, and [God] will give him life-for those that sin not to death. There is sin to death: [but] that's not what I am saying he should ask about.

We know that whoever is begotten of God does not sin; but he that was begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the evil one.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Whoever goes onward and doesn't abide in the teaching of Christ, doesn't have God: he that abides in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

who bore witness to your love before the church: whom you will do well to set forward on their journey worthily of God:

Beloved, don't imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: he that does evil has not seen God.

Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to the called, having been loved in God the Father and having been kept in Jesus Christ:

For some men have infiltrated you. They were written about long ago to this condemnation: ungodly men, changing the grace of our God into sexual immorality, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
