Whe I crie vnto the, thou doest not heare me: & though I stonde before the, yet thou regardest me not.

Yet neuerthelesse where as I loked for good, euell happened vnto me: and where as I waited for light, there came darcknesse.

Yet they of myne owne housholde saye: who shal let vs, to haue oure bely ful of his flesh?

For he saieth: Though a ma be good, yet is he naught before God.

holde the still a litle, and I shal shewe the, what I haue yet to speake on Gods behalfe.

I wil open vnto ye yet more of myne vnderstondinge, and proue my maker rightuous.

yee wondre at him, and yet they se him but afarre of.

A roaringe voyce foloweth him: for his glorious magesty geueth soch a thondre clappe, that (though a man heare it) yet maye he not perceaue it afterwarde. It geueth an horrible sownde,

yet russheth he in fearsly, and beateth vpon the grounde. He feareth not the noyse of the trompettes,

Yet haue I set my kynge vpon my holy hill of Sion.

Yet in my trouble I called vpo the LORDE, & coplayned vnto my God.

Yet dwellest thou in the Sanctuary, o thou worshipe of Israel.

But thou art he that toke me out of my mothers wobe: thou wast my hope, when I hanged yet vpon my mothers brestes.

Though I shulde walke now in the valley of the shadowe of death, yet I feare no euell, for thou art with me: thy staffe & thy shepehoke coforte me.

Though an hoost of men were layed agaynst me, yet shal not my hert be afrayed: and though there rose vp warre against me, yet wil I put my trust in him.

Suffre yet a litle whyle, & ye vngodly shalbe clene gone: thou shalt loke after his place, & he shal be awaye.

I haue bene yonge, & now am olde: yet sawe I neuer the rightuous forsake, ner his sede to seke their bred.

Though he came in to se, yet meaned he falsede in his hert, heapinge myschefe vpon himself.

O put thy trust in God, for I wil yet geue him thankes, for the helpe of his countenauce.

Why art thou so heuy (o my soule) & why art thou so disquieted within me? O put thy trust in God, for I wil yet thanke him for the helpe of his countenaunce, and because he is my God.
