For it is a righteous thing with God, to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you,

In flaming fire, rendring vengeance vnto them, that doe not know God, and which obey not vnto the Gospel of our Lord Iesus Christ,

Wherefore, we also pray alwayes for you, that our God may make you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodnes, and the worke of faith with power,

That the Name of our Lorde Iesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God, and of the Lorde Iesus Christ.

Which is an aduersarie, and exalteth him selfe against all that is called God, or that is worshipped: so that he doeth sit as God in the Temple of God, shewing him selfe that he is God.

And therefore God shal send them strong delusion, that they should beleeue lies,

But we ought to giue thankes alway to God for you, brethren beloued of the Lord, because that God hath from the beginning chosen you to saluation, through sanctification of the Spirit, and the faith of trueth,

Now the same Iesus Christ our Lord; and our God euen the Father which hath loued vs, and hath giuen vs euerlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

And the Lord guide your hearts to the loue of God, and the waiting for of Christ.

Pavl an Apostle of Iesvs Christ, by the commaundement of God our Sauiour, and of our Lord Iesus Christ our hope,

Vnto Timotheus my naturall sonne in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father, and from Christ Iesus our Lord.

Which is according to the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, which is committed vnto me.

Nowe vnto the King euerlasting, immortall, inuisible, vnto God onely wise, be honour and glorie, for euer, and euer, Amen.

For this is good & acceptable in the sight of God our Sauiour,

For there is one God, and one Mediatour betweene God and man, which is the man Christ Iesus,

But (as becommeth women that professe the feare of God) with good workes.

For if any cannot rule his owne house, how shall he care for the Church of God?

But if I tary long, yt thou maist yet know, how thou oughtest to behaue thy self in ye house of God, which is the Church of the liuing God, the pillar and ground of trueth.

And without controuersie, great is the mysterie of godlinesse, which is, God is manifested in the flesh, iustified in the Spirit, seene of Angels, preached vnto the Gentiles, beleeued on in the world, and receiued vp in glorie.

Forbidding to marrie, and commanding to absteine from meates which God hath created to be receiued with giuing thankes of them which beleeue and knowe the trueth.
