And command these things as well, so that they may be above reproach.

And at the same time they also learn to be idle, as they go around from house to house. And not merely idle, but also gossips and busybodies, talking about things not proper to mention.

But those who have believers as their masters must not be disrespectful to them because they are brothers, but must serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.

and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and unfit for any good work.

But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and conflicts about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.

And our people must also learn to lead in good works to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.

They will perish, but You remain;And they all will wear out like a garment,

And like a mantle You will roll them up;Like a garment they will also be changed.But You are the same,And Your years will not come to an end."

Therefore I was angry with this generation,And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,And they did not know My ways';

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?
