And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the direction of the east; and his voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with his glory.

Thus says the LORD God: No foreigner, uncircumcised in his heart and uncircumcised in his flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, nor any strangers who are among the children of Israel.

And they shall not attend the funeral of a dead person, lest they defile themselves, except for father or for mother or for son or for daughter or for brother or for his virgin sister who had never been married, otherwise they may become unclean.

And on the day that he goes into the sanctuary, to the inner court to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, says the LORD God.

And the high priest shall enter by the way of the porch at the gate from without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall offer his burnt offerings and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate; then he shall go out; but the gate shall not be shut until evening.

Now when the high priest shall offer burnt offerings or gift offerings to the LORD, the gate that looks toward the east shall be opened for him, and he shall offer his burnt offerings and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day; then he shall go out, and after his going out the gate shall be shut.

Thus says the LORD God: If the high priest give a gift to any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons; it shall be their possession by inheritance.

But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after that it shall return to the high priest; but what his sons inherit shall be theirs.

Moreover the high priest shall not take of the peoples inheritance, nor shall he defraud them of their inheritance; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession; so that my people may not be driven away every man from his inheritance.

And a glorious man that had the measuring line in his hand went forth; he measured a thousand cubits and brought me through the water, and it was to the ankles.

And whatever tribe which has the aliens who are proselytes, there you shall give him his inheritance, says the LORD God.

And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Maribath in Kadesh, and his possession shall extend as far as the great sea.

And the LORD delivered it into his hand, together with Jehoiakim king of Judah and the vessels of the house of the LORD, which he carried away into the land of Sinar, to the house of his idol; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his idol.

But Daniel decided in his heart that he would not eat of the kings delicacies nor drink of the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he would not force him to eat.

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding that the king inquired of them he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in his whole realm.

AND in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed a dream and his spirit was troub1ed and his sleep departed from him.

Then the king commanded to call the magicians and the astrologers and the sorcerers and the Chaldeans to show the king his dream. So they came and stood before the king.

They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show its interpretation.

And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and guards sought Daniel and his companions to slay them.

Then Daniel went to his house and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions,
