And as they were coming out, they found a man of Cyrene named Simon, whom they pressed into service to bear His cross.

And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves by casting lots.

And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS."

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.

and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away.

Therefore, order for the grave to be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come and steal Him away and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,' and the last deception will be worse than the first."

And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you."

And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples.

And behold, Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.

and said, "You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.'

The voice of one crying in the wilderness,‘Make ready the way of the Lord,Make His paths straight.'"

And John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and was eating locusts and wild honey.

And he was preaching, saying, "After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the strap of His sandals.

And going on a little farther, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.

And they were astonished at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

And Simon and his companions searched for Him;

And a leper *came to Jesus, pleading with Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."

And moved with compassion, He stretched out His hand and touched him, and *said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
