And extending his hand he touched him, saying, "I am willing, be clean." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

And when Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down and suffering with a fever.

And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

And as he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.

And getting into a boat, he crossed over and came to his own town.

And he got up and went to his home.

And it happened as he was dining in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners were coming and dining with Jesus and his disciples.

And when they saw it, the Pharisees began to say to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

And Jesus and his disciples got up and followed him.

And behold, a woman who had been suffering with a hemorrhage twelve years approached from behind and touched the edge of his cloak,

for she said to herself, "If only I touch his cloak I will be healed."

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest that he send out workers into his harvest."

And summoning his twelve disciples, he gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could expel them and could heal every disease and every sickness.

Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,

Do not take a traveler's bag for the road, or two tunics, or sandals, or a staff, for the worker is deserving of his provisions.

"And brother will hand over brother to death, and a father his children, and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death,

"A disciple is not superior to his teacher, nor a slave superior to his master.

It is enough for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household?

For I have come to turn a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
