The one with the two talents also came and said, ‘Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.'

so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.'

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?

When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?'

Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?'

But Peter was following him from a distance, all the way to the high priest's courtyard. After going in, he sat with the guards to see the outcome.

Jesus said to him, "You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven."

But the rest said, "Leave him alone! Let's see if Elijah will come to save him."

He is not here, for he has been raised, just as he said. Come and see the place where he was lying.

Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. You will see him there.' Listen, I have told you!"

Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee. They will see me there."

He told him, "See that you do not say anything to anyone, but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."

They watched Jesus closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they could accuse him.

so that although they look they may look but not see, and although they hear they may hear but not understand, so they may not repent and be forgiven ."

Now the herdsmen ran off and spread the news in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.

His disciples said to him, "You see the crowd pressing against you and you say, ‘Who touched me?'"

But he looked around to see who had done it.

He said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." When they found out, they said, "Five—and two fish."

When he learned of this, Jesus said to them, "Why are you arguing about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Have your hearts been hardened?
