His lord said to him, Well done, good and reliable servant, you have been faithful over a little, I will appoint you over much; enter into your master''s joy.

His lord answered and said to him, O wicked and lazy servant, you knew me that I reap where I did not sow, and I gather where I did not scatter.

When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all his holy angels with him, then he will sit upon the throne of his glory.

And he will set the sheep at his right, and the goats at his left.

Then the King will say to those at his right, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom which has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

Then he will also say to those at his left, Go away from me, you cursed, to the everlasting fire, which is prepared for the adversary and his angels.

WHEN Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples,

When his disciples saw it, they were dis- pleased, and said, Why is this loss?

And his disciples did as Jesus had commanded them; and they prepared the passover.

And when it was evening, he was reclining with his twelve disciples.

And he answered and said, He who dips his hand with me in the dish, he will betray me.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it, and he broke it, and gave it to his disciples, and he said, Take, eat; this is my body.

Then Jesus said to them, All of you will deny me this night; for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of his flock will be scattered.

Then Jesus came with them to a place which is called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, Sit down here, while I go to pray.

And he went a little further and fell on his face, and prayed saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; but let it be, not as I will, but as you.

Then he came to his disciples and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, So, you were not able to watch with me even for one hour?

Then he came to his disciples and said to them, Sleep from now on and get your rest; behold, the hour has come, and the Son of man will be delivered into the hands of sinners.

And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew a sword, and struck it at the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

The high priest then rent his clothes and said, Behold, he is blaspheming; why therefore do we need witnesses? behold, you have now heard his blasphemy.

Then they spat in his face, and struck him on his head, and others beat him,
