So King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, "See, I have given everything Haman owned to Esther. They have hanged him on the tower because he had wanted to destroy all the Jews.

Then the Lord said to Satan, "See, all that he has is in your power. Only do not put your hand on him." So Satan went out from the Lord.

And see, a strong wind came from the desert and hit the four corners of the house. It fell on the young people and they are dead. I alone have gotten away to tell you."

So the Lord said to Satan, "See, he is in your power. Only do not kill him."

Let the early morning stars be made dark. Let it wait for light but have none. Do not let it see the light of day.

Why did I not die before I was born, hidden and put away, as babies that never see the light?

See, you have taught many, and you have given strength to weak hands.

"See, happy is the man to whom God speaks strong words. So do not hate the strong teaching of the All-powerful.

You will know that your tent is safe. You will look over what you have and see that nothing is gone.

See, this is what we have found, and it is true. Hear it, and know for yourself."

Yes, this is how you have been. You see my trouble and are afraid.

Now be pleased to look at me, and see if I lie to your face.

"Remember that my life is only a breath. My eye will not again see good.

The eye of him who sees me will see me no more. Your eyes will be on me, but I will be gone.

See, this is the joy of His way. And out of the dust others will come.

See, God will not turn away from a man who is honest and faithful. And He will not help those who do wrong.

When He passes by me, I do not see Him. When He goes by me, I do not know Him.

If it is a question of power, see, He is the strong one! If it is a question of what is right and fair, who can call Him to a trial?

"My days go faster than a runner. They fly away, and see no good.

Do You have eyes of flesh? Do You see as a man sees?
