And they remembered His words.

When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive.

Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?"

When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. [fn]

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Mark 16:19,20; Acts 1:9">[xr] And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.

He came to His own, [fn] and His own [fn] did not receive Him.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

And [fn] of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples.

He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, "We have found the Messiah" (which is translated, the Christ).

Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it."

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.

Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house has eaten [fn] Me up." Psalms 69:9">[fn]

But He was speaking of the temple of His body.

Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; [fn] and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did.
